THE STORY OF ARISE CHRISTIAN CENTER
Arise Christian Center (ACC) started in 1999 with a humble dream and vision of founding and lead pastors Ron & Gina Taylor. Since it's humble beginning, ACC is now the home church for people of different ages, backgrounds and ethnicities. Ron is known for his ability to intertwine encouraging messages with compassion and power. Gina is known for her sincere heart of praise and worship. They believe the church exists to expand the kingdom of God, declare the name of Jesus, and establish healthy community.
A native of Mississippi, Ron moved to Los Angeles in 1979, where he later met Gina and they were married in 1987. Though Ron and Gina understand the significance of ministry, they know how vital it is to be a loving husband, wife, and parents to their three children: Ronnell, Micaela, and Ryanne. Ron attended a school of ministry and was ordained as a minister in 1996. Both Ron and Gina have attended several leadership and pastor's summits, conferences, seminars, and meetings to strengthen their knowledge for more effective ministry. In 2007, both Ron and Gina were awarded an honorary doctorate of divinity degree from St. Thomas Christian College.

DEENA TAYLOR
Ronnell Taylor is known for his ability to teach and lead with conviction. He attended Jackson State University in Jackson, Mississippi where he earned a degree of business administration, and later went on to obtain a master of business administration from the University of Redlands. He is currently a Sr. Contracts Manager in the Aerospace Industry. Ronnell has always sensed a higher call to ministry on his life. He officially answered the call in October of 2017 when he was ordained as a minister of the gospel through Arise Ministries Inc.
Deena Taylor is known for her passion for worship and building young adults. She is a Southern California native and grew up in Carson with her parents and two younger sisters. After graduating from UC Santa Barbra and getting a degree in Communications, she pursued a career in Marketing. One that would ultimately land her at one of the largest toy companies in the world. The two were married in January 2017 and enjoy serving the Lord together. Both Ronnell and Deena oversee various ministries and are dedicated to equipping and empowering young adults, ages 25-40.
